Protests in Egypt Begin Against Sisi
Protests in Egypt have begun against the military dictator Sisi. This is a big development, as it echos those from 2011. The first Egyptian protests of the Arab Spring are where I got my start in podcasting and doing the work I do today.
Along with alerting viewers to the protests, I’d like to ask the question why certain revolutions get Western coverage while other don’t? The #Yellowvests in France are still fighting a media blackout, as are the people taking to the streets in Egypt.
Why? I think we all know the answer.
